They can document everything in the game and it won't matter because most video game players don't want to read manuals, they want to play the game.
Personally, I think the Rats could save the n00bs a lot of angst if they just put a surgeon general's warning on the box saying:
"Warning: This game is ridiculously complicated. You won't understand most of it even if you play for a year. Have fun!"
I think that sums it up pretty well. We're actually trying to get more noob-friendly in the UI and there have been a lot of great suggestions. Tool tips are working now and that's a good start.

This game needs a single player tutorial...'corse then you could sell a single player game using the same tools.
Yep. Trainers like the Americas Army qualification system would help a lot.
Even just an offline range system with feedback would help, rather than firing a few shots and having to run to the target to check.
Nowhere near simple, though.
Like I've always said, I think the various .dot commands are a real bad bandaid. I've been playing this game since Day 1 and I still don't know all the .dot commands. The more I use .dot commands too, the more I feel like I'm playing a MUD/MUSH than a Graphical online WWIIOL shooter.
Use radial menu's or something, but Drop the .dot commands like a heart attack, because all they do is give you one.
