Fantastic!

I wasn't the biggest comic book geek when I was a kid but I was always into the Fantastic Four. The movie is finally coming to light after all and the secret trailer from ShowWest has hit the net. There's not enough Doctor Doom or Jessica Alba in it if you ask me but I'm partial to Villians and Hotties.

v119 Update

Posted an update today about the upcoming v119 release and the progress we've made since my last Production Update in early March. Added some in production screenshots as well, but you Gophur Holers already saw them in the gallery didn't you. Here's the link.

Gallery Added

I found some nice PHP software for managing my screenshots and other media. While this is mostly a repository for my collected odds and ends you can also usually find stuff there before it gets onto an official post at the WWIIOL Production Notes. So poke around a bit every once in a while and feel free to send me links to things you'd like to see added. Check it out.

Demo: Chronicles of Riddick

PCG gave this game a great review. By all accounts I've read it was the sleeper bargain hit of the year. Some say better than even FarCry. For those of you, like me, who don't buy every game that comes out Filerush.com has some good news.

The New UI Is In!

Today marks a pretty big day for us. The new UI is going from placeholder art done by the coders to actual mockup. This means that the flow is being finalized and we're ready to make the remainder of the widgets to get us to release. At release we're shooting for replication of current functionality but we'll be adding a lot more very fast witht he new system. w00t!

New Site Up

I'm working on retooling the site to make it easier to update. I hope you like the changes that will be coming along. In general I'll be posting not only WWIIOL stuff but any other oddities that come to mind.

I'm looking for a picture managment solution to make updating the Gallery easier. Hopefully that will be forth coming in the next week or so.
